Write to your MP - this website was set up to make MPs more accessible to us. You put in your postcode and it tells you the name of your Local and County Councillors, your MP and Euro MP. Click on the button and a form appears ready for you to write and send. In my experience, the system works.
This site also links you to They Work for You which tells you all about your MP, including their voting records.

So you want to do something but feel rather alone? Friends of the Earth will send you a monthly newsletter of campaigns that need support. They also make it very easy to get the message to the right place.
Oxfam also offer a regular newsletter about issues that need our time and attention. Like FoE, they make campaigning easy for us to do.
